Intro / CHALLENGE

How We Facilitated the Analysis for a Substitute Management System

LAUSD embarked on a series of process mapping exercises, interviews, assessments, and evaluations regarding its substitute management systems, process, policies, and procedures. The thorough review of how all substitutes are identified, deployed, and managed resulted in realizations that the current systems are not robust enough for the environment.  LAUSD engaged us to complete a full marketplace assessment and vendor selection for a complete Substitute Management System.

APPROACH

Our approach was designed around cross-functional facilitated vendor selection.  We:

  • Determined the appropriate vendor solution group

  • Created the requirements and RFP for vendor distribution

  • Evaluated responses

  • Facilitated vendor response scoring and generated the vendor short-list

  • Facilitated vendor product demonstrations

  • Finalized recommendation to Senior Management
